The former Granary is spacious, child-friendly and kitted out with all the essentials for a memorable gathering. This is our most suited property for those of you who intend on partying into the early hours.

  • Can I have a civil ceremony at Westfield Farm Weddings?

    Yes, Westfield Farm Weddings has a license for civil ceremonies and partnerships, allowing you to hold both your ceremony and reception on site.

  • Do you offer on-site accommodation for our guests?

    Absolutely! We have beautiful on-site accommodation at Westfield Granary, which sleeps 12-14 guests including a luxury self-contained Wedding Suite for the couple. The Granary must be booked alongside venue hire.

  • Can we bring in our own caterer?

    Yes, we pride ourselves on being a flexible DIY wedding venue, which means you're welcome to bring in your preferred caterer to create your dream wedding feast.

  • What level of support do you provide during the wedding planning process?

    Our experienced and dedicated team is here to help you every step of the way. We offer guidance and support to ensure a seamless experience, while also giving you the freedom to personalise your special day.

  • Are pets welcome at Westfield Farm Weddings?

    We understand that pets are part of the family, and we're more than happy to accommodate well-behaved dogs at our venue.

  • Can we extend our celebration beyond the wedding day?

    Absolutely! We encourage our couples to extend their stay and continue their celebrations with loved ones throughout their time at Westfield Farm Weddings. This is why we have a three-night minimum stay at Westfield Granary for all weddings.

  • How many guests can the venue accommodate?

    We can accommodate a variety of wedding sizes, but the specific number will depend on your chosen package and seating arrangements. We are licensed for up to 150 guests for celebrations on site.

  • Do you have parking facilities for our guests?

    Yes, we provide ample on-site parking for your guests to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

  • What if we need additional accommodation for more guests?

    While Westfield Farm can only accommodate 12-14 guests on-site, we have three additional award-winning and show-stopping self-catered properties in neighbouring villages, sleeping a further 54 guests.

  • Can we have a marquee, tipi, or other outdoor structures for our wedding?

    Yes, our spacious grounds allow for marquees, tipis, bell tents, food trucks, bar trailers, and even camping, providing the perfect setting for your dream outdoor wedding experience.

  • Can we decorate the venue to match our wedding theme?

    Definitely! We encourage you to personalise the venue with your preferred décor to create a bespoke atmosphere in line with your wedding theme.

  • Are there any restrictions when it comes to music and entertainment?

    We want your wedding to be a joyous celebration. However, we do ask that all music and entertainment adhere to reasonable noise levels and our premises license in line with local regulations.

  • Is there a curfew for our wedding reception?

    Yes, we have a curfew of midnight for live or amplified music and entertainment to ensure a peaceful night for all guests and neighbouring properties.

  • What is the booking and cancellation policy?

    To secure your wedding date, we require a 25% deposit and the balance is due six weeks prior to your arrival. Our cancellation policy, including any applicable fees and refunds, will be discussed during the booking process.

  • How far in advance do we need to book our wedding?

    We recommend booking your wedding as early as possible to ensure your preferred date is available. Some couples book over a year in advance, but we try to accommodate shorter notice weddings whenever possible.

  • Will there be any other weddings or events on the same day?

    No, we offer exclusive use of the venue to ensure that you and your guests can enjoy your special day without any interruptions.

  • Are there any nearby attractions for our guests to enjoy before or after the wedding?

    Westfield Farm Weddings is located in the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, with various local attractions and points of interest to explore, such as historic sites, the Yorkshire coast, and charming villages.

  • Can you recommend any local suppliers for our wedding?

    We have a list of 'Friends of Westfield Farm Weddings' that includes trusted local suppliers. We're happy to share our recommendations to help you find the perfect match for your wedding needs.

  • Can we have a fireworks display during our wedding celebrations?

    Due to the rural setting and concern for local wildlife, we only permit low-noise firework displays at our venue using our exclusive, trusted supplier. We encourage the use of alternative options, such as sparklers, to create a memorable and magical atmosphere.

  • Do you offer any special packages for smaller or intimate weddings?

    Yes, we offer a low season and midweek micro wedding package for up to 30 people, suitable for couples seeking a more intimate celebration.
