Four generations of our family have farmed this land and we are privileged to be able to open up our little corner of paradise for you. We are a large, working farm and currently have 1,800 acres, which is mostly arable, growing wheat, barley, oilseed rape, fodder beet, carrots, potatoes and miscanthus (biofuel). We also winter 2,500 lambs, so there is always plenty going on!

All four of our properties are renovated farm buildings, with easy access to the vast countryside and breathtaking scenery we are lucky enough to call home.

Grand Get-Togethers began life as two small holiday properties within a former granary at our Westfield Farm family home. In 2006, the properties were opened up to cater for the growing need for open plan spaces and holidays in the UK, becoming our flagship property, Westfield Granary.

In 2012, we renovated what is now Grade II listed farmhouse, Corner Farm, from two semi-detached village properties. In 2014, we started renovating the adjacent farm buildings, wagon sheds and old fold yard into our hugely popular hen party property, The Yard.

Fast forward to 2020, and Bogg Hall Barns became our most recent project, developing in to the most stunning, luxury property that we now call Bogg Hall Barn. All of our properties are fuelled sustainably, either by biomass or ground source and we are always looking for ways to be more eco-friendly.

Corner Farm and The Yard are both located in the village of Sherburn, while Westfield Granary is located half a mile out of the village, adjoining our house and farmland. Bogg Hall Barn is situated in the village of Ganton, approximately 4 miles from Sherburn.

The village of Sherburn lies between the market town of Malton and the seaside resort of Scarborough, in the Vale of Pickering. Sherburn has a village shop and a pub, as well as Trotters Farm Shop half a mile towards the coast. There is a farm bakery and tea room in the neighbouring village of Potter Brompton and more shops and eateries can be found in the nearby towns of Scarborough, Malton and Pickering. The Yorkshire Wolds Way long-distance footpath runs just south of Sherburn, through our farmland, and can be accessed by a short walk or drive from our properties.

Scarborough and the surrounding area boasts beautiful beaches and the ruins of a 12th-century castle with glorious views. For culture, enjoy the world famous theatre-in-the-round at Stephen Joseph Theatre, home of playwright Sir Alan Ayckbourn, or catch some live music at the Open Air Theatre. The Spa hosts the only remaining seaside orchestra or seek out local history at the Rotunda Museum.

Head to Malton, the Food Lovers Capital for the monthly food market or the bi-annual Food Lover's Festival. Stop by at Castle Howard afterwards for a touch of stately home glamour and views over the Howardian Hills.

For more adrenaline-filled activities, visit Dalby Forest for excellent mountain biking, hiking, GoApe and Segwaying, or North Yorkshire Water Park for inflatable fun, paddleboarding, rock climbing and more. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is close by with its famous steam railway, offering a relaxing ride to Whitby through stunning moorland and forest. Eden Camp and Flamingo Land are also only a stone's throw away, so there really is something for everyone!
