Getaway Action
Gateway Action was founded in 2013 and operates in Salford. We primarily help children and young people from under privileged backgrounds. We provide advice, assistance and facilitate a wide variety of physical, leisure and educational programs to help our vulnerable children to achieve success, develop their skills and reintegrate into society. We help to relieve stress, poverty and mental health in an area heavily reliant on social benefits.
Why did you choose Grand Get-Togethers in the first place?
We originally chose Grand Get-Togethers as it looked beautiful on the online pictures. When we got in touch with Molly to book our group holiday, she was extremely helpful and accommodating.
Why do you keep returning to Grand Get-Togethers?
We have been back to Grand Get-Togethers numerous times over the last few years both as a group and also as a family. We keep returning instead of looking at other options because of the superb service they offer. Molly is so easy to work with and ready to help. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean and well looked after. They think of all the little extras which make a holiday that much more relaxing and the price is very reasonable.
What do you like about Grand Get-Togethers?
Grand Get-Togethers clearly are proud of their accommodation and their first and foremost interest is that their guests should feel comfortable, pampered and at ease. We feel as returning guests, that we are valued customers and Molly will always try and accommodate.
The hot tub is huge, the couches beds and furniture are of high quality and there is a feeling of no expense has been spared to make the accommodation luxury.

The personal feeling one gets when booking with Grand Get-Togethers is something missing with many holiday accommodation providers. We feel that we matter. There is always excellent and prompt responses. The welcoming emails with all the details are clear and the personal welcoming touch when we arrive, underline that this isn't just another business, enabling you to enjoy your holiday feeling truly "at home".

Why did you choose Grand Get-Togethers in the first place?
We were searching the internet looking for a that would accommodate our family & friends to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday (nearly 9 years ago). Initially my husband had a trip out to look where it was & were very happy with the location, near to the coast & set in beautiful countryside. The family & friends were all impressed by the Granary & all the facilities needed to suit all ages.
Why do you keep returning to Grand Get-Togethers?
The Granary is ideally located for lots of different places, it is large enough to accommodate all of us , the family has grown since our first trip. It gives us a reason to get together where there is plenty of room for us to all be together but also space to get get away from the group. The outside space is a big advantage of why we return to Westfield , the field & outside space is ideal for the grandchildren & their toys & activities. The hot tubs & games room are an added bonus.
What do you like about Grand Get-Togethers?
Molly & Joan make us very welcome time after time , nothing is too much trouble.
They are a good team & have made many improvements.

Why did you choose Grand Get-Togethers in the first place?
When we are looking for holiday properties to stay in it can often be quite difficult finding the right facilities for our guests as we need spacious ensuite bathrooms and ground floor rooms. In addition to this we want the property to be as accessible as possible as well as being dementia friendly. When we found the Yard online and came to visit, we were delighted to find that it was perfect for our guests needs.
Why do you keep returning to Grand Get-Togethers?
We keep coming back to stay at the Yard because we have such fantastic holidays there. The property is kept to such a high standard and is very luxurious. The location is great for us as we are close to Scarborough and other the other excursions that we run. Another reason why we keep coming back are the fantastic staff at Gran Get-Togethers especially Molly who has been incredibly helpful during our holidays. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they make our stay so special.
What do you like about Grand Get-Togethers?
Where to start! There are so many things we like about the Yard. As we touched on before the facilities are a perfect fit for our guests. In particular the open plan kitchen/dining/living room means that even when the staff are cooking and preparing dinner we can still socialise with our guests. The natural light that is let in from the floor to ceiling windows makes it a beautiful space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We could go on and on but the last thing we love is the pool table and Jacuzzi which really help our guests to relax and enjoy their time in the house.

We just want to say a massive thank you from everyone at MindforYou. Grand-Get Togethers have been so helpful in supporting what we do and have made our lives a whole lot easier on the holidays because of their flexibility and kindness. We look forward to coming back to your beautiful property again soon as we have a holiday booked in April.
